Revelation 1:8
Psalms, the Apostle Paul, and the Apostle John make it clear that the “Almighty” is, and only is, God the Father. Therefore, He is the one who is speaking in this verse,
contrary to the red-letter edition and popular thought.

Chapter 1 of this book shows the overwhelming evidence of this fact.
This one fact immediately solves at least 7 confusing issues in the book of Revelation and when issues start to be resolved then you know you have discovered the truth. This one “who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty, the one who liveth forever and ever,” is mentioned about a dozen times in Revelation. Understanding who He is and what He does, will not only change our perspective as we read and study Revelation but will also improve, as we will see, our doctrine as well.

I hope you find this book a thoughtful and truthful look at the Word of God. I was a Baptist Sunday School teacher for 30 years but an engineer by trade. So, I have tried diligently to be very logical and just let scripture speak for itself. A literal approach is taken. Also, conservative Biblical doctrines are rigorously defended. To put some of your minds at ease let me say, I believe the next great prophetic event that will happen is the Rapture. Then a short time after that, the antichrist will sign the covenant with Israel which will start the seven years of Tribulation. At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will return to earth to defeat Satan and the antichrist and usher in the Millennium.
